Multiaxial reinforcements are fabrics made up of multiple plies of parallel fibres, each laying in different orientation or axis – hence the term ‘multi-axial’. These layers are typically stitch bonded (usually with polyester thread) to form a fabric. Cristex can provide a range of Multiaxials in Glass, Carbon, and Aramid etc. in any of the following configurations. Additionally Quasi-isotropic fabrics are available on request.
