ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Recertification
Cristex ISO Audits & what this means for customers.
Cristex has successfully completed the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 audit, confirming continued compliance with the requirements, confirming that the quality management and environmental management systems underpinning every division, Cristex Composite Materials (CCM), Cristex Advanced Materials (CAM), and Cristex Cutting & Kitting (CCK), continue to meet internationally recognised standards.
What the Reaccreditation Confirms
ISO 9001 sets out the requirements for a quality management system, covering consistency, traceability and continuous improvement in how products and services are delivered.
ISO 14001 sets out the requirements for an environmental management system, covering how a business identifies, controls and reduces its environmental impact.
Passing reaccreditation to both standards means an independent auditor has reviewed Cristex’s processes, documentation and controls, and confirmed they remain fit for purpose. It is not a one-off achievement but a recurring check that the systems businesses rely on are still working as intended.
Consistency Across the Group
“Maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 across all of them means customers working with any part of the business get the same high standard of quality control and environmental management, regardless of which division they buy from.”
Phil Smith
ISO Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer
For CCK Aerospace specifically, the reaccreditation also sits alongside ongoing work toward AS9100, the quality standard specific to the aerospace industry, building on the same management system foundation.
Why It Matters to Customers
For customers, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 reaccreditation means:
• Documented, repeatable quality control across sourcing, production and dispatch
• Traceability that supports demanding material handling and supply chain requirements
• A structured, independently verified approach to environmental management
• Confidence that these standards are maintained on an ongoing basis, not set once and left unchecked
Looking Ahead
Maintaining these accreditations reflects the investment Cristex continues to make in its processes, people and facilities. It is a routine part of how the business operates, and a signal to customers and partners that the standards they expect are being upheld year after year.
