Cristex Composite Material recently exhibited at the UK’s only dedicated Composite Materials, Design and Processing event, the Advanced Engineering Show, bringing together engineering professionals to meet, do business, and gain insight from experts into the latest industry opportunities and innovations.
Our partners from Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands joined us for a two-day exhibition, meeting and greeting existing customers and welcoming potential new customers to our stand, providing in-depth product and process knowledge.
Gregor, from Saertex presented ‘Vison of the Fjords’ highlighting Composites in Extreme Environments and showcasing the importance of lightweight sandwich constructions in the marine industry and the advantages of carbon fibre non-crimp fabrics for stiffness and impact resistance.
The main attraction at this year’s show was the Range Rover Vogue manufactured by Streamline Carbon for Urban Automotive, an independent vehicle modifier. Other items included a carbon fibre wheel rim, radiator upper grille and side intake grilles, showcasing the carbon used in these parts.
Elantas, our partner for Epoxy resin, demonstrated various Tooling Boards and Resin Applications. And last but not least, Eurocarbon presented an array of braids and tapes, hockey sticks, skiing boards and more.
We are delighted to say that we had a successful show and would like to thank all our customers and partners for making it possible and contributing to our ever-growing success.
May the preparation commence for next year’s show! If you would like to view photos of the Advanced Engineering show 2017, please visit our Facebook page here.
