As previously shared, at Cristex we are on our mission to achieving the ISO 14001 accreditation.
Where are we now?
Step 1: We brought in an external consultant to give Cristex an internal audit. As part of this, we were given an analysis of where we were at that moment in time. The analysis brought up factors where we were able to improve. A couple of these examples included waste management and for our pallets to be moved more efficiently.
Step 2: We then knew where we needed to improve and what to implement, in order for those changes to comply with the audit and be ready for assessment. We are to be audited within the next week, where our mission to ISO 14001 will continue.
After these critical steps, we will be assessed again to ensure all changes where possible have been made. Once we have passed internally, we will apply to the official assessment organisation, in order to receive our certification. We hope to have this in place by the end of 2024.
