SAERcore & SAERcore MAX

SAERcore® is a patented SAERTEX flow media solution designed to significantly improve resin distribution and processing efficiency in closed mould composite manufacturing processes.

The material combines one or two layers of chopped strand mat (CSM) with an integrated flow medium, enabling faster and more controlled resin infusion throughout the laminate.

SAERcore® MAX extends this technology further by integrating multiaxial reinforcements directly within the sandwich structure, combining flow enhancement with structural reinforcement in a single material system.

These engineered solutions are widely used in RTM, RTM Light and vacuum infusion applications where process speed, laminate quality and manufacturing consistency are critical.

SAERcore® variants

SAERcore® High-Flow
The High-Flow version is specifically designed for applications requiring extremely rapid resin distribution and reduced mould filling times.

SAERcore® RC
The RC version incorporates 100% recycled core material for a lower CO2 footprint. The RC core has optimised resin flow for higher processing speeds.

SAERcore® MAX
SAERcore® MAX integrates multiaxial reinforcements directly within the material structure, combining flow enhancement with structural reinforcement.

Additional Processing Options
Both SAERcore® and SAERcore® MAX are available with a range of additional processing features, including:

• SAERfix® Compatibility: Can be supplied in combination with SAERfix® to further reduce mould filling time and improve process stability.

• Surface Fleece Options: Additional non-woven surface layers can be incorporated to improve final component surface finish.

• Custom Kits: SAERTEX can produce customer-specific kits from templates or CAD files, helping reduce lay-up time and improve manufacturing efficiency.
