SAERfix is a product that has been developed and patented by SAERTEX to make the process of positioning multiaxial fabrics such as Glass Fibre, Carbon Fibre and Aramid Fibre easier. SAERfix has a strong adhesion and excellent grab characteristics. The adhesive finish is repositionable and can be applied to either one or both sides.

-          Time efficient: Using SAERfix reduces the time needed for lay-up

-          Simple handling: automated lay-up possible: The exact positioning of the fabric is simple, even on highly curved surfaces

-          Reproducible quality: SAERfix EP has virtually no influence on the mechanical characteristics of the laminate

Cristex offers a large range of products suitable for Infusion Moulding, RTM, RTM Light, VARTM and Compression Moulding. The process of RTM is done using a rigid two-sided mould set that forms both surfaces of the panel. The two sides fit together to produce a mould cavity. A key feature of resin transfer moulding is that the reinforcement materials are placed in the cavity and closed prior to the introduction of matrix material. Resin transfer moulding includes numerous variations which differ in the mechanics of how the resin is introduced to the reinforcement in the mould cavity.
