Composite Gusset Fillers

Gusset fillers, sometimes referred to as “noodles”, are solid braided reinforcement profiles manufactured from carbon fibre, glass fibre and aramid fibre combinations.

Designed to fill internal corners and voids within composite laminates, gusset fillers help improve laminate consistency, structural performance and manufacturing efficiency.

These materials are commonly used in structural composite assemblies where reinforcement is required within angled sections, corners and bonded joints.

Due to their braided construction, gusset fillers are easy to form into triangular profiles while maintaining good compatibility with surrounding reinforcement fabrics and resin systems.
