Lightning Strike Protection Fabrics (LSPF)
Cristex Advanced Materials is now a supplier of a variety of lightning strike reinforcement fabrics.
These fabrics are a woven hybrid, incorporating a structural reinforcement yarn such as Carbon Fibre with a metallic wire, chosen to meet a required conductivity.
Some of the unique attributes:
- Custom designed for weight and conductivity
- Easier to mould than expanded metal
- Superior surface finish
- Can be engineered to meet both structural and conductive requirements
