Our mission to ISO 14001
Sustainability and environmental responsibility is becoming a crucial role for all organisations worldwide. Here at Cristex Composite Materials, we are now starting our journey to obtain the certification of ISO 14001, which is adding to our current certification of ISO 9001.
What is ISO 14001?
ISO14001 provides a framework for organisations to be able to design and implement an EMS (Environmental Standard) and continually improve their environmental performance. By adhering to this standard, we are able to ensure that we are proactively taking measures to help minimise our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements and achieve our environmental commitments.
The framework takes into consideration various aspects, from resource usage and waste management, to monitoring environmental performance and involving all of our staff members in environmental commitments.
We are hoping to have this implemented by the end of 2024 and will ensure to keep you all updated on our journey to ISO 14001!
